Jessy Yasmeen is an underground artist from Rotterdam. With her authentic vocals, soulful melodies, and introspective lyrics, she creates a sound that is both raw and refined. Her music is a powerful blend of Neo-soul & Hip Hop, infused with Latin rhythms and deep emotional expression.

 

She comes from a true cultural melting pot: with Venezuelan, Surinamese, Chinese, and Dutch heritage, Jessy brings a unique artistic richness to everything she creates. For her, music is a way to heal, connect, and share stories rooted in faith, intuition, and inner growth.

 

Following the success of her 'Leap of Faith' EP, released in late 2025 and having garnered around 3.6 million streams, Jessy is entering a new chapter. 2026 marks the arrival of her highly anticipated new album, 'Salt & Soil'.

 

She was awarded the Rotterdam Music Award 2024 – Export Prize, selected for Popronde 2024, and received airplay on NPO Radio 2 and BBC Radio. She has performed on stages like De Vorstin, opened for Ashley Henry, Pale Jay and took the stage at the Cuban festival Un Puente Hacia La Habana. In 2025, she was part of the Motel Mozaïque Festival line-up and performed at 91 Living room in London.
